The inside of my head is too noisy, and running didn't really quiet it down. And I'm falling on my face when doing yoga, which hasn't happened for a while. Dear self, get a grip and pull it together.

Went to the mail room at work, the guy inquired how are you? I said could be better. he said it's Monday, everybody could be better.

Everybody could, everybody could, amen.

The only thing I can hear inside of my head when I (attempt) to run (walk+jog=wog) is usually that inner voice telling me that I am going to die at any moment. But, Yay, exercise. I am a huge proponent (even if I don't exactly look the part) But, yeah, it is such a stress reducer most of the time that when it doesn't work it is a bit disconcerting. And sometimes those endorphins don't last as long as I think they should.

And I meant to ask if you lived in the DC area? If I had known, we could have met up for lunch or coffee or whatever. Of course I've only now realized that I never really posted that I was even going. (Which shows me just how disconnected I've become over the past several months) Some would argue that online social media is an isolating thing but I don't see it that way. One, I have too many friends who don't live near me and if we aren't connecting in this way, we aren't connecting at all.

Anyway, I hope that everything is better today!

When I was younger and meaner, I used to tell people who claimed to be depressed to go run in the sun for 3 miles. It's a scientific conclusion that sun and exercise reduce symptoms of depression...when I got mellower with age, I usually suggest shoeshopping. I do yoga 'cause it forces me to center and focus, and it helps a lot with my shoulder thing…

I'm actually located in New York, but have been to DC for many a professional conferences. I think I have been to the room where J2 did nerd squad in San Diego, for another conference, of course. I don't know why I'm rambling on, apparently, the Home Depot does this to me.

"When I was younger and meaner." For me it's the opposite. I seemed to be much more forgiving when I was younger. As I get older, I am more easily annoyed and more likely to express it.

But shoe shopping has always been a form of retail therapy for me!

I'm glad the Home Depot made you ramble! For me, Home Depot (Lowe's, Best Buy) equals a significant amount of money ramble.

I know right, shoe shopping is like the most effective anything ever existed in lifting a girl's spirits!

The thing about Home Depot is the perfect home vibe it, sort, kind of has, in their raw material kind of way?

The convention center at San Diego is freaking huge! Whey they talked about how they had to run, like full on sprint kind of run, to get to the Nerd Squad thing because they are late, I actually felt some sort of comradeship with them.
