Depression and Stuff

So, Jared did an interview with Variety, where he talked about his own period of clinical depression. I had no idea that a guy who seemed so open and happy could actually be depressed, and I really considered myself well-informed about it too. Anyways, it still seemed like actually doing things and keeping putting one foot before the other is a good way of beating it.

He is a good guy.

I was quite surprised at that too. He did a great job bouncing back and spreading love and positivity to people around him and the whole world.

It takes a lot of guts to admit to the whole world that he had hit that low a point too.

Quite often it is the (as you say it) open and happy people who are struggling privately with depression and other problems. Just look at Robin Williams.

He certainly is. It's a big part of why I love and admire and respect him so much.

I often thought he could play one of those tragic heroes in a history piece, there something very quiet about him. I guess when he is just with himself, he is that quiet person.
