Too much crazy.

There is actually a discussion about asking Jensen at a con if he thinks Dean is bi- and/or gay. And people who think they can't are sorta homophobia.

It is like asking a more or less stranger, who you see regularly in the gym, who you don't know and who don't know you, if his best hot friend is gay. I don't know about kids nowadays, but that is just plain crazy to me.

It puzzles me how fans can disregards normal social niceties when it comes to the actor and the character he/she plays. It's not like they are not people, the actors, I mean.

Yeah, sometimes I'd like to smack people for the questions they ask at cons. They give fans a bad name. Some things just should be off limits. I feel so awkward for them so you know it has to make them feel awkward. It has nothing to do with homophobia. I think questioning them about their personal life and religious/political beliefs should be off limits, too.

Fans like that have this idea that they "know" them well enough to ask such things or they think that no question is off limits to celebrities.

This is a con and I just think it should be light-hearted and be about the show or their experiences on the show. I don't play in fandom to talk about important issues. You get enough of that everywhere else. It's a fun escape and I'd like to keep it that way.

I really do think there should be a proverbial line in the sand, the lack of that led to the demise of blindfold, I am still bitter about it.
